Well, now the company has announced a new model, as yet unnamed, set to be revealed later this year.
It's the car in the picture above. Lucra has declined to reveal any more information about the project, but judging by the work done on its LC470, you can be mighty sure it'll be fast. Like, really fast.
This is because Lucra sources its engines from General Motors and – now – Mercedes AMG. Specifically, the 7-litre GM V8 from the Corvette Z06, and AMG's naturally-aspirated 6.2-litre V8, as seen doing wonderfully noisy service in the 457bhp C63 AMG Coupe.
But while Lucra founder Luke Richards is a huge fan of big dirty V8s, he's also appreciative of lightweight British sportscars. So whichever engine finds its way into this new car, expect it to be light, thanks to Lucra's spaceframe tubular chassis and carbon fibre bodywork. The LC470 weighs in at just under a tonne, which in 600bhp form gets a slightly ludicrous power-to-weight ratio.
We'll have more information as soon as we get it.
