Sevilla: Kondogbia could still leave
Unai Emery has hinted that the Frenchman's current situation with the Andalusians could still lead to a departure this summer
Sevilla boss Unai Emery has admitted he is unsure if the club can retain the services of Geoffrey Kondogbiabeyond this summer.
The 20-year-old, who joined the club from Lens in July 2012, has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan throughout the off-season, with Real Madrid and Arsenal among those reportedly keen on the midfielder.
However, neither club have triggered the Frenchman's release clause - which is thought to be in the region of €10 million - and Emery has hinted the youngster could still leave the club before the closure of the transfer window.
"We want him to stay here, but there are circumstances that could lead to an exit," the 41-year-old toldMarca.
"We will not make any movement to sell. There is no need to sell and we all know that in the club."
Kondogbia, whose contract ends in summer 2017 with the Andalusian outfit, played 31 times in La Liga last season.
